I prototyped a few of these for fun, and gave them out to my friends.  One of them found their way into the hands of the MoMA Store buyer, and I suddenly had an order.  They went viral, before that was even a term.  I ended up selling over 25,000 of them in over 200 retailers around the world. I actually stopped producing them not because they weren’t selling, but because I thought they were beginning to define me, and my creative output.
